Ingredients:

1 cup white rice

1/4 cup cooking oil

1/4 cup onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, chopped

1/4 cup tomato sauce

3 cups water

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Brown rice in hot oil, stirring frequently.
  2. Add onion and garlic and sauté until tender.
  3. Add tomato sauce, water, and salt.
  4. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes until water is absorbed.
