Ingredients:

4 cups peeled, coarsely chopped tart apples

3 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons brandy

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

3/4 cup dry oats

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons flour

2 tablespoons margarine

Directions:

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Toss well; set aside.
  3. Combine oats, brown sugar and flour in small bowl.
  4. Cut in margarine until well blended.
  5. Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
